Charity Shop

St Stephen RC Church ran a Charity Shop in support of their restoration work at J&J Howe, 30 Reform Street, Blairgowrie from Friday 20th–27th October.

Organiser was Mary O’Brien from Coupar Angus, was ably helped by parishioners who came from as far afield as Bridge of Cally, Blairgowrie, Coupar Angus, Burrelton, Alyth and Meigle.

Marion Duffy, a parish spokesperson, said, “As well as being fun and rewarding, it was a great way to build community within the congregation as individuals got to know each other better through sharing in the work of setting up, selling and clearing up.”

Over £3000 was raised, including £370 for the Christmas raffle which is still ongoing.

Thanks to all who supported the venture and to the ongoing support of the Hertitage Lottery Fund for our Reparation Works.
